What I am going to share with you today is a great movie, named “A STAR IS BORN” - which impressed me so much. I’ve just watched it last Friday night and I have to say that this is an exceptionally well-directed movie.
This is an American musical romantic drama which has been produced by Bradley Cooper. This movie has a dream cast with a famous male lead - Bradly Cooper and Lady Gaga as the female lead with other great supporting actors.
Actually, Lady Gaga has never been to my taste due to her overwhelmingly sophisticated outfits and uptempo songs but “A STAR IS BORN” is an exception in a way that changed my thoughts completely about her - such a talented singer, actress and an amazing human being.
So the movie is about the story of a famous country singer (Jackson) who is near the end of his career because he can’t stop drinking. He’s a severe alcoholic. He meets Ally (Lady Gaga) when visiting a bar one night after his show, and witnesses her incredible singing performance. He’s just completely taken away by her astounding voice and tries to get her involved with his performances. They slowly begin to form a romantic relationship through their genuine love of music.
What intrigued me about this movie is the chemistry between Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga is off the charts. I mean people would feel that they are really in love - not acting at all. The camera has captured real events, which makes this movie really powerful. Lady Gaga who I think she is insanely talented and one of the best vocal performers in the world. She obviously brings her marvelous talent to this movie.
Also, the thing that makes this movie so meaningful is that they address a tricky situation in any romantic relationship when a woman is more successful than her man in her careers. It also addressed a serious issue these days in terms of substance abuse and mental health.
On top of that, the amazing movie’s soundtrack is so inspiring and exceptional. The music is used for the right moment which can move you to tears.
“A STAR IS BORN” is surely going to get the best picture nomination. I would highly recommend anyone to watch this movie and enjoy some true precious moments in life!
