What you looked for?

Well, I guess we all have at least several times in our life searched for information for different purposes. There was actually the time when I had to look for ideas about my ideal holiday to Seoul in Korea.

Why you looked for it?

You know last year before visiting to Seoul with my best friends from uni (university), I literally spent almost 3 days trying to get a better understanding of this amazing city to make the most of my holiday as it was our once-in-a-lifetime opportunity  travelling together. As students at that time, we all had a very limited budget so we had to create a sensible itinerary. In mean how to travel on a budget.

How you did it?

So we delegated tasks to each individual to collect information from various sources. David - my friend was in charge of doing research about “Dos and Don’t” in Korea on the Internet to make sure we could avoid any possible culture shock. Ami - the other friend in our group would check all the popular tours through some well-known travel agencies to customize our itinerary. I myself would need to discover all entertainment offers, cuisine and famous landmarks in Seoul from the Internet, too.

So basically I researched the Korean embassy’s website, Korean cultural-related websites and listened to various video clips on youtube like “Things you must do and visit in Seoul”.

And explain how useful the information was?

Interestingly, the more knowledge I absorbed about this city, the more excited I became. After a couple of days, thanks to our careful and detailed research, I have known that Incheon Airport is consistently included in the top 5 best airports of the world, often ranking number one. It has majestic aesthetic look, even golf course, ice skating rink, a casino and private sleeping rooms. So we could get there early before our flight to take advantage of such a great place like this.

Oh, we also discovered an exciting fact that Korea has year-round festivals. The cherry blossom festival runs from March to May is a must-see event because those pink and white cherry blossoms transform the entire country into a magical wonderland.

We found out information so informative, valuable and useful in terms of enlightening our knowledge about Korea in general and Seoul in particular. We all had a whale of a time in Seoul - enjoying stunning traditional meat dishes, visiting break-taking sightseeing places, experiencing the top-notch nightlight of the city. It is definitely a vibrant city worth visiting at least one in your life time.

Conclusion:

I would certainly highly recommend you all to go and have a look for information carefully to enjoy your holiday best!
