Việc học theo các chủ đề nhỏ thế này sẽ giúp bạn hệ thống hoá được kiến thức tốt hơn nhiều và học cực tốt. 
 
1. Written all over sb's face = If an emotion is written all over someone's face, it is clear what they are feeling: bộc lộ rõ hết trên khuôn mặt
Example: Guilt was written all over her face.
 
 
2. Face facts  = to admit that something is true: chấp nhận thực tế
Example: The time has come to face the fact that the government's policies aren't working.
 
 
3. Until you are blue in the face = If you say or shout something until you are blue in the face, you are wasting your efforts because you will get no results: (tới xanh mặt mày), có nghĩa là bạn làm việc rất chăm chỉ hay trong một thời gian dài, nhưng cuối cùng phí hoài công sức vì bạn không thành công.
Example: You can tell her to clean her room until you are blue in the face, but she won't do it.  
 
 
4. Lose face = to lose the respect of other people because of something you have done: mất mặt (thể diện)
Example: Both companies are denying responsibility for the crisis, as neither wants to lose face.
 
 
5. A slap in the face = an action that insults or upsets someone: như 1 phát tát vào mặt 
Example: It was a real slap in the face for him when she refused to go out to dinner with him.
 
 
6. A long face = If you have a long face, you look sad:  mặt rầu rĩ 
Example: ”Why do you have such a long face?"
 
 
7. Facial expression: biểu cảm gương mặt
Example: I really love his lovely facial expressions. 
 
 
8. Face-to-face (adv,a) /ˌfeɪs.təˈfeɪs/: directly, meeting someone in the same place: gặp trực tiếp
Example: We’ve spoken on the phone but never face-to-face.
 
 
9. Face mask (n) /ˈfeɪs ˌmɑːsk/: a cream or a piece of thin material that is left on the face for some time and then removed, in order to make the skin look and feel better: mặt nạ
Example: This Honey Bio face mask contains seven secret herbs to cleanse and heal the skin.
