Những món đồ “Handmade” hay còn gọi là những món đồ thủ công luôn mang một ý nghĩa rất to lớn bởi vì những món đồ này được làm bằng tay rất cầu kì và vô cùng tinh xảo. Cùng với đó là thành ý và tấm lòng của người làm ra đã món đồ chứa đựng trong đó. Vậy nếu khi gặp chủ đề này trong bài kiểm tra, chúng ta sẽ phải miêu tả món đồ ấy thế nào? Hôm nay, BEC sẽ cung cấp gợi ý cho các bạn nhé.
Topic Card:
Describe one thing you made by hand. You should say:
- What it is
- How you made it
- When you made it
And explain why you made such thing.
Sample Answer:
I sent a homemade photo frame to my boyfriend as his birthday gift. The idea occurred to me when I went around IKEA store and noticed a cardboard photo frame, which looked simple yet individual.
I prepared a sheet of cardboard, scissors, glue, beads, sequins and all that jazz.
I first cut the cardboard into proper size to make a “frame card”. It was easily done by tracing the outline of the photo.
Then I glued a photo of my boyfriend and I into the center of the card.
The next step was decorating. I covered the four sides of the card with glue and scattered beads and sequins before the glue dried, and then left it to dry.
In order to make the card look more like a “frame”. I stuck a piece of foam at the back to help it stand.
The photo frame has been standing on my boyfriend’s bookshelf since I sent it to him. It is really nice to see both of us grinning heartily in the photo frame!
