Tất cả các cụm động từ bên dưới liệt kê đều cực dễ nhớ và dễ dùng nên chúng mình cùng take note kỹ còn áp dụng vào các bài nói cực tốt
1. Brush up (on) sth /brʌʃ/: to improve your knowledge of something already learned but partly forgotten: trau dồi kiến thức
Example: I thought I'd brush up (on) my French before going to Paris.
2. Live life to the full = try to gain a lot from life by being always busy and trying new activities: sống hết mình
Example: I am trying to live life to the full.
3. Take sth as it comes = to deal with something as it happens, without planning for it: Cứ để mỗi ngày đến thì đến (đón nhận mọi chuyện 1 cách nhẹ nhàng)
Example: Just take each day as it comes and do what you feel is right.
4. Give up— /ɡɪv/: to stop trying to do something before you have finished, usually because it is too difficult: từ bỏ cái gì đó
Example: I want to give up smoking.
5. Take up = become interested or engaged in a pursuit: bắt đầu 1 sở thích mới
Example: I’d like to take up Yoga.
6. Get into sth = to become interested in an activity or subject, or start being involved in an activity: bắt đầu thích cái gì
Example: She’s been getting into yoga recently - she does three classes a week.
7. Cut down = to do or use less of something: cắt giảm cái gì…
Example: I’m trying to cut down on caffeine.
8. Work on sth = to spend time repairing or improving something: dành thời gian làm gì…
Example: His dancing technique is good, but he needs to work on his stamina.
9. Put sth by = to save an amount of money to use later: dành dụm, cần kiệm
Example: I try to put by a few pounds every week.
10. Raise the bar = To raise the standards of quality that are expected of or required for something: nâng cao tiêu chuẩn
Example: Businesses have increasingly been raising the bar for entry-level employees.
