Để nâng cao band điểm speaking, chúng mình cần nắm được quy tắc làm tăng màu sắc mà sự nhấn mạnh trong câu bằng cách đưa ADVERB - trạng từ đứng trước 1 tính từ - ADJECTIVE hoặc 1 động từ trong câu để tặng sự nhấn mạnh trong câu hơn. Ví dụ bạn sẽ nói là INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT - cực quan trọng/ thiết yếu thì điểm nói của bạn sẽ được cao hơn nhiều.
1. Virtually impossible: hầu như là không thể
Example: This quiz is virtually impossible.
2. Absolutely incredible: tuyệt đỉnh
Example: Star Wars was absolutely incredible.
3. Fully aware = complete have knowledge of something: hoàn toàn nhận thức được
Example: He was fully aware of the consequences.
4. Blatantly obvious: cực rõ ràng…
Example: Your feelings for him are blatantly obvious.
5. Absurdly difficult: khó 1 cách vô lý
Example: The test was absurdly difficult.
6. Seriously injured/hurt: bị thương nặng
Example: She was seriously injured in the 2nd half.
7. Highly probable / likely: có khả năng xảy ra cao
Example: Rain is highly probable tomorrow.
8. Cautiously optimistic: lạc quan 1 cách thận trọng…
Example: I’m cautiously optimistic about the next Star Trek movie.
9. Totally wrong: hoàn toàn sai
Example: Your answer was totally wrong.
10. Incredibly lazy: lười chẩy thây
Example: James is incredibly lazy.
11. Insanely talented: tài năng kinh ngạc
Example: She’s insanely talented!
12. Entirely/Wholeheartedly agree: hoàn toàn đồng ý
Example: I entirely agree with you on the question of nuclear waste.
13. Ridiculously cheap/expensive: rẻ/đắt 1 cách nực cười
Example: This pencil case is ridiculously expensive.
14. Strongly argue: phản đối mạnh mẽ
Example: I would strongly argue that they aren't.
Example: I would strongly argue that they aren't.
15. Deeply moved: xúc động mạnh mẽ
Example: I was deeply moved and profoundly grateful for all they had done.
