2. Omelette (n) /ˈɒm.lət/: a dish made by mixing eggs together and frying them, often with small pieces of other food such as cheese or vegetables: trứng tráng
Example: a cheese/mushroom omelette.
3. Scrambled eggs (n) /ˌskræm.bəld ˈeɡz/: eggs mixed with a little milk and mixed again as they are being fried: trứng chưng (khuấy)
Example: scrambled eggs on toast
4. A hard-boiled egg (a) /ˌhɑːdˈbɔɪld/: A hard-boiled egg has been heated in its shell in boiling water until both the white and yellow parts are solid: trứng chín kỹ

10. Scotch egg (n) /ˌskɒtʃ ˈeɡ/: a boiled egg that has been covered with a mixture of crushed meat, spices, and bread, and then fried: món trứng bọc trong thịt xay rán vàng lên
Có rất nhiều câu chuyện kể về nguồn gốc của món Scotch egg: trung tâm thương mại Fortnum & Mason ở London khẳng định chính họ đã là người sáng chế ra món trứng này vào năm 1738, một số nguồn khác lại cho rằng Scotch egg được lấy cảm hứng từ món thịt viên nargisi kofta, du nhập từ thời đế quốc Mogul.
