6. Chiefly (adv) /ˈtʃiːf.li/: mainly: chủ yếu

7. Appoint (v) /əˈpɔɪnt/: to choose someone officially for a job or responsibility: chỉ định

Example: Marie Curie made a triumphant journey to the united states.
12. Outstanding achievements: thành tựu xuất sắc
Example: One of Marie Curie’s outstanding achievements was to have understood the need to accumulate intense radio active sources.
13. Leukaemia (n) /luːˈkiː.mi.ə/: a serious disease in which the body produces too many white blood cells: bệnh bạch cầu
Example: Marie Curie died as a result of leukemia cased by exposure to radiation.
14. Immense (a) /ɪˈmens/: extremely large in size or degree: to lớn
Example: Her contribution to physics had been immense.
