Describe a magazine you enjoy reading. You should say:
- What the magazine is
- What you read it

and explain why you enjoy reading it
Sample Answer:
My favourite magazine is Vouge, which is a well-known fashion and lifestyle magazine. Vouge is widely published; today, it is published in nineteen countries. It was described as "the world's most influential fashion magazine".
I subcribe to the magazine; it can be delivered to me the very day its out each month. The thick copy with the glossy cover and fancy pictures always fancinates me. Vouge is the most famous as presenter of images of high fashion and high society, but also publishes writting on art, culture, politics, and ideas. It keeps me in touch with the latest trend. The magazine really funtions as a bible for those who worship at the altar of luxury, celebrity and style. Another thing I enjoy in reading the magazine is the fancy pictures. You cannot help being allured by the fine photography. Lastly, I'd like to mention the well-written articles. They represent a kind of fashion culture.
Now reading the magazine has become more of a hobby than anything else to me. Although at least half of the magazine is advertising, and all the items in magazine are out of my price range, it keeps nourishing my eyes and enriching my leisure time.
Part 3: DICUSSION
1- What's the influence of reading on people?
While the advanced technology is wonderful. I really think reading is the only entertainment which is also an essential life skill. Also, reading makes one think, imagine, and experience different emotions. It enable a person to become wise, witty and rational.
2- What's the difference between electronic media and traditional media?
The electronic media, like the Internet, is based on the advanced digital technology. It is more timely and updated in presenting information. The traditional media, like newspaper and magazine, is printed. It is more reachable than electronic ones.
3- Do you think electronic media will replace traditional one?
No, I don't think so. Although the electronic media is more timely and interactive, the traditional media has its advantages that electronic one lacks. For example, it is more affordable and accessible. For old people, the traditional media is stil the main resource from which they get information and news. As far as I'm concerned, reading on the computer screen can't match the feeling of "curlig up with a book", which evokes a warm and cozy image in people's minds.
4- What's the reading habit like nowadays?
I think people's reading level has dropped dramatically recently. It seems that when people are overdriven, reading is the first acivity to be given up. Although the number of books has increased greatly, people spend less time reading than before. That's sad because reading is an activity that can make life richer and more enjoyable.
