1. Stick around = to stay somewhere for a period of time: quanh quẩn ở đâu…
Example: You go - I'll stick around here a bit longer.
 
 
2. Stick at sth = to continue trying hard to do something difficult: Tiếp tục làm điều gì đó dù khó khăn.
Example: You’ll never learn to play the piano if you're not going to stick at it.
 
 
3. Stick it out = to continue to the end of a difficult or unpleasant situation: hãy cố gắng bền bỉ
Example: I know things are difficult right now, but if we just stick it out, I'm sure everything will be OK in the end.
 
 
4. Stick in sb's mind/head/memory = to remember something: mãi trong tâm trí/đầu/kí ức…
Example: She says numbers just stick in her mind!
 
 
5. Stick by someone/something = to continue to support someone, or to not change your mind about something: tiếp tục ủng hộ ai/giữ vững ý kiến
Example: He stuck by his earlier statements and never changed his story.

 
6. Stick out = to be very easy to notice: cực nổi bật
Example: She certainly sticks out in a crowd.
 
 
7. Stick to = obey a rule/promises: tuân thủ luật/ giữ lời hứa
Example: My players must stick to the plan.
 
 
8. Stand/stick out like a sore thumb = If someone or something stands/sticks out like a sore thumb, everyone notices them because they are very different from the people or things around them: quá nổi bật, khác biệt so với những người/môi trường xung quanh
Example: He sticks out like a sore thumb.
 
 
9. Stick figure (n) /ˈstɪk ˌfɪɡ.ər/ =  matchstick figure = a simple picture of a person in which the head is drawn as a circle and the body, arms, and legs are drawn as lines: hình que 
Example: The glyph for Capricorn is practically a stick figure of the goat/fish god.
