Từ SIDE là 1 từ khá thú vị trong tiếng Anh, sẽ rất ít khi bạn rất từ này đứng 1 mình, thường nó sẽ ghép với cụm kiểu như BY MY SIDE, hay ON EITHER SIDE OF…. Cùng take note và SHARE cho các bạn của mình học ngay content do cô Minh Trang đã chắt lọc tỉ mỉ bên dưới!
 
1. Stand at/by someone's side=to remain loyal to someone: luôn bên cạnh ai
Example: His wife stood at/by his side throughout the scandal.
 
2. Look on the bright side = to findgood things in a badsituation: luôn tích cực
Example: Look on the bright side - no one was badly hurt.
 
3. See both sides: to understandboth of the opinionsor arguments in a situation: khách quan 
Example: It’s difficult for me because I can see both sides.

4. Side with sb  /saɪd/: to support one person or group in an argument: ủng hộ ai 
Example: If ever there was any sort of argument, she'd always side with my father against me.
 
5. Side effect (n) /ˈsaɪd ɪˌfekt/: an unpleasanteffectof a drug, medical treatment, or vaccine (= a substance put into a person's body to stop them gettting a disease) that happens in addition to the main intended effect: phản ứng phụ 
Example: Does this drug have any side effects?
 
6. Side by side = next to each other: bên cạnh
Example: The children sat side by side .
 
7. Side dish (n)  /ˈsaɪd ˌdɪʃ/: in a restaurant, an extradishof food, for example vegetables or salad, that is served with the main dish, sometimes on a separate plate: món đi kèm 
 
8. Take sb's side= to supportsomeone in an argument: ủng hộ 
Example: my mother always takes my father's side when i argue with him.
 
9. Side entrance (n): a doorat the sideof a house or other building that is not the main entrance - cổng vào 
Example: They had to sneak in through a side entrance.
 
10. From side to side= from leftto right and from right to left: từ bên này sang bên khác
Example: the curtains were swinging from side to side in the breeze.
