1. As smooth as silk/a baby's bottom = extremely smooth: cực mịn màng
Example: Her skin was as smooth as silk.
2. Child’s play =something that is very easy to do: dễ ợt
Example: For her, computer programming is child’s play.
3. Sleep like a baby = To experience a very deep and restful sleep; to sleep soundly.
Example: I have to set numerous alarms for the morning because I sleep like a baby every night!
4. Baby-boomer (n) /ˈbeɪ.biˌbuːm.ər/: a person who was born during a baby boom, especially the one that happened in the UK and the US following the Second World War: em bé được sinh vào thời kỳ bùng nổ trẻ sơ sinh
Example: Naturally, Baby Boomer characteristics vary from individual to individual.
5. Have a baby face = have a youthful appearance = look young
Example: Charlotte has a baby face so everyone thinks she is younger than she actually is.
6. Be like a kid in a candy store = to be very happy and excited about the things around you, and often react to them in a way that is silly and not controlled: phấn khích, kích động quá mức tới nỗi hành động có phần ngốc nghếch
Example: You should have seen him when they arrived. He was like a kid in a candy store.
7. Baby carriage (n) /ˈbeɪ.bi ˌkær.ɪdʒ/: a vehicle for moving a baby around that consists of a small bed supported by a frame on four wheels: xe đẩy trẻ em
Example: I saw her pushing a baby carriage down the street.
8. Throw a fit/tantrum = to experience and show a strong feeling of anger, especially suddenly: nổi đoá
Example: My mother threw a fit when she saw what a mess we'd made of her kitchen.
9. Run wild = If someone, often a child, runs wild, that person behaves as they want to without being controlled by anyone: nổi loạn
Example: She was letting her imagination run wild again.
