1. Barbecue (n) /ˈbɑː.bɪ.kjuː/ BBQ: a metal frame on which meat, fish, or vegetables are cooked outdoors over a fire
Example: Make sure you light the barbecue in plenty of time.
2. Charcoal Grill: Nướng than
Example: Charcoal grills use either charcoal briquettes or natural lump charcoal as their fuel source.
3. Gas grill: Bếp nướng bằng gas
Example: Simply put, a gas grill is a grill that cooks food using gas.
4. Charcoal (n) /ˈtʃɑː.kəʊl/: a hard, black substance similar
Example: charcoal for the barbecue
5. Grill (n) /ɡrɪl/: a frame of metal bars over a fire on which food can be put to be cooked: vỉ nướng
6. Electric Grill: Lò nướng điện
Example: The kitchen boasted not only a microwave oven but also an electric grill.
7. Portable Grill: vỉ nướng di động
Example: A portable charcoal grill is usually quite compact and has features that make it easier to transport, making it a popular grill for tailgating.

Example: charred meat
9. Burn (v) /bɜːn/: to damage food by cooking it for too long or with too much heat, or to be damaged in this way: chá
Example: I’ve burnt the sausages.
10. Flame (n) /fleɪm/: a stream of hot, burning gas from something on fire: ngọn lửa
Example: You can feel the heat coming from the flames.
11. Sizzle (n) /ˈsɪz.əl/: the sound of food frying: tiếng xèo xèo (khi nướng)
Example: the sizzle of bacon
12. Season (v) /ˈsiː.zən/: to improve the flavour of savoury food by adding salt, herbs, or spices when cooking or preparing it:tẩm ướp
Example: Drain the rice, stir in the salmon and season to taste (= so that it has the taste you like).
13. Marinate (v)/ˈmær.ɪ.neɪt/: to pour a marinade over meat or fish; to be left in a marinade: ướp
Example: Marinate the chicken in white wine for a couple of hours before frying.
14. Marinade (n) /ˌmær.ɪˈneɪd/: a mixture, usually containing oil, wine, or vinegar and herbs and spices, that you pour over fish or meat before it is cooked, in order to add flavour to it or make it tender: gia vị
Example: Pour the marinade over the beef and leave it for 24 hours.
15. Barbecue sauce = A popular sauce to put on barbecued food that’s made out of vinegar, tomato paste, and/or mayonnaise: nước sốt BBQ
Example: These chicken wings have the perfect amount of barbecue sauce on them.
16. Skewer (n) /ˈskjuː.ər/: a long, thin metal pin used for holding together pieces of food, especially meat, during cooking: xiên que
Example: Let’s put about six pieces of meat on each skewer.
