Topic mới ra nhất part 2 của IELTS SPeaking quý 2/2020 có đang yêu cầu bạn tả “Describe someone you know who is a good cook” (1 ai đó bạn biết là đầu bếp giỏi). Để làm tốt topic này các bạn cần phải nắm được các tố chất/ tính cách tạo nên một đầu bếp tốt và đây cũng là điều cực quan trọng. 1. Have A good Palate: có khẩu vị tốt
Example: Chef Gordon Ramsay definitely has a good palate for discerning flavors and ingredients
2. Creativity (n) /ˌkriː.eɪˈtɪv.ə.ti/: the ability to produce or use original and unusual ideas: tính sáng tạo
Example: Creativity, ingenuity, and flair are the songwriter's real talents.
3. Charismatic (a) /ˌkær.ɪzˈmæt.ɪk/: used to describe a person who has charisma: lôi cuốn, thu hút
Example: The real Ramsay off-camera is charismatic, bold, confident, goofy, very intuitive and he reads people well.
4. Hard work and determination: sự quyết tâm và chăm chỉ
Example: You will find that being a chef requires a lot of hard work and determination.
5. Multitasking /ˌmʌl.tiˈtɑːs.kɪŋ/ (n) = a person's ability to do more than one thing at a time: đa nhiệm vụ
Example: Being able to handle a lot of things at once is going to be crucial on your journey to being a successful chef
6. Ability to Handle Criticism: có khả năng đối mặt/ xử lý được các sự chỉ trích
Example: Chefs are always changing their recipes and techniques to accommodate constructive criticism that is founded.
7. Detail Oriented = Attention to detail: tỉ mỉ đến từng chi tiết
Example: From the creation of a dish to the plating of the food, attention to detail is a critical component.
8. Endurance /ɪnˈdʒʊə.rəns/ (n) = the ability to keep doing something difficult, unpleasant, or painful for a long time: khả năng chịu đựng
Example: Chef's career: a blend of glamor, sacrifice and endurance
9. Stamina /ˈstæm.ɪ.nə/ (n) the physical and/or mental strength to do something that might be difficult and will take a long time: sức chịu đựng
Example: a chef needs stamina to remain focused and consistently produce top quality food.
