4. Wind down /waɪnd/: to gradually relax after doing something that has made you tired or worried: thư giãn
Example: When he goes on holiday, it takes him the first couple of days just to wind down.
5. Simmer down /ˈsɪm.ər/: to become less angry or excit
Example: Come on kids! Simmer down and get on with your work!
6. Turn down something— /tɜrn/: to refuse to accept or agree
Example: The bank turned her down for a loan.
7. Track sb/sth down— /træk/: to find something or someone after looking for them in a lot of different places: cố gắng tìm kiếm thứ gì hoặc ai đó đang ở đâu
Example: He finally managed to track
8. Down payment (n) /ˌdaʊn ˈpeɪ.mənt/: an amount of money that you pay at the time that you buy something but is only a part of the total cost of that thing. You usually pay the rest of the cost over a period of time: Tiền trả trước

12. Down under = (in or to) Australia or New Zealand: Úc/NZ
Example: She was born in Scotland, but she's been living down under for 22 years.
13. Downhearted (a) /ˌdaʊnˈhɑː.tɪd/: unhappy and having no hope, especially because of a disappointment or failure: Chán nản; thất vọng,
Example: After hearing the news of the defeat, she told supporters not to be downhearted.
