Từ SHAME trong tiếng Anh là 1 từ cực thú vị vừa là danh từ với nghĩa (sự tủi thẹn) và động từ với nghĩa làm xấu hổ. Nhiều bạn còn chưa biết đến các cách nói tự nhiên mình dùng cực nhiều hàng ngày như SAME, SAME HERE hay WHAT A SHAME! thì nhất định càng cần học kĩ content bên dưới!
1. Same here = used when you agree with what someone has said or you have experienced the same thing as they have: mình cũng thấy thế

2. Same again = said when you want another drink of the same type as you have just had: lại nữa à

Example: Episcopal priests can officiat
4. Put sb to shame = to make someone feel ashamed: làm ai xấu hổ, tủi nhục và ngại ngùng
Example: Wow, her British accent really puts mine to shame.
5. Body shaming (n) /ˈbɒd.i ˌʃeɪ.mɪŋ/: criticism of someone based on the shape, size, or appearance of their body: miệt thị ngoại hình,
Example: He says body shaming definitely o
6. Shame on you = used to tell someone that they should feel sorry for something they did: Bạn nên thấy xấu hổ vì việc mình đã làm.
Example: Shame on you for being so mean.
7. It is such a shame = this is very unfortunate: thật đáng tiếc/không may
Example: It’s such a shame that you have to leave so soon.
8. It is a shame to do something: thật tiếc là….
Example: It’s a shame to cover this beautiful table with a tablecloth.
9. The same as = exactly like: cũng như vậy
Example: People say I look just the same as my sister.
10. A crying/great/terrible shame: rắc rối, không phù hợp.
Example: It was a crying shame that they lost the game.
11. What a shame!: tiếc quá
Example: James! What a shame you've never been there.
