1. Rays of light: những tia sáng.
Example: The sun shines and gives out rays of light.
2. A beam of light: một chùm ánh sáng.
Example: A torch gives out a beam of light.
3. A flash of light: 1 tia sáng
Example: A camera gives a flash of light.
4. Flicker (v) /ˈflɪk.ər/: to shine with a light that is sometimes bright and sometimes weak: lung linh
Example: A candle-flame flickers in the breeze.
5. Glow (v) /ɡləʊ/: to produce a continuous light and sometimes heat: toả ra
Example: White-hot coal on a fire glows.
6. Glitter (v) /ˈɡlɪt.ər/: to produce a lot of small, bright flashes of reflected light: lấp lánh rực rỡ
Example: Her diamond necklace glittered brilliantly under the spotlights.
7. Twinkle (v) /ˈtwɪŋ.kəl/: (of light or a shiny surface) to shine repeatedly strongly then weakly, as if flashing on and off very quickly: lấp lánh
Example: The stars twinkled in the clear sky.
