Từ FOLLOW là động từ cơ bản level A trong tiếng Anh mang nghĩa “theo” ai/cái gì đó. Nếu bạn vẫn còn chưa biết cách nói phổ biến như FOLLOW MY LEAD hay FOLLOW THE TREND thì càng cần học content tuyệt vời bên dưới đó
 
1. Follow (a) fashion = to do what is popular at the time: Theo mốt
Example:  Does your girlfriends follow the fashion? 
 
2. Follow someone's lead: to do the same thing that someone else has done: Theo sự hướng dẫn, chỉ bảo…
Example: He followed her lead and voted in favor of the proposal.
 
3. Follow one's heart: to do what one would really love to do: Theo trái tim mách bảo
Example: I decided to follow my heart and take up acting.
 
4. Follow in sb's footsteps = to do the same thing as someone else did previously: nối gót ai…
Example: She followed in her mother's footsteps, starting her own business.
 
5. Follow suit = to do the same thing: làm điều tương tự 
Example: When one airline reduces its ticket prices, the rest usually follow suit.
 
6. Follow a career = to do a particular job: Theo sự nghiệp 
Example: The company has an open door policy to mature entrants who have followed alternative career paths.
 
7. As follows = said to introduce a list of things: như sau
Example: The winners are as follows - Woods, Smith, and Cassidy.
 
8. Follow orders = To act in accordance with the instructions that one has been given: Theo chỉ đạo
Example: Ma’am, I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just following orders from my superior—we need to search this property.
 
9. Follow something up = follow up on sth  —  /ˈfɑl·oʊ/: to discover more about something or to take further action connected with it: Theo dõi
Example: As a news reporter, when something important happens, I have to follow it up.
 
10. Follow a pattern = to continue to happen or develop in a particular way, especially in a way that is expected: Theo 1 khuôn mẫu
Example: In Australia, the weather follows a fairly predictable pattern. 
 
11. A hard/tough act to follow: someone or something that has been so successful that it is very difficult for the person or thing coming next to be as good: người quá thành công/làm quá tốt đến mức người khác khó theo kịp.
Example: Yesterday’s thrilling victory will be a tough act to follow.
