Các topic tả người của IELTS luôn là những topic nói được hỏi truyền thống xuyên suốt từ quý này sáng quý khác. Nhiệm vụ của bạn chỉ cần nhớ các idioms tuyệt đỉnh về tả tính cách con người liệt kê như bên dưới - cực dễ nhớ, dễ dùng, đọc một cái là nhớ liền, và quan trọng chúng đều là những idioms cập nhật, phổ biến
 
1. People person (n) : someone who is good at dealing with other people - chỉ những người rất giỏi trong vấn đề làm việc cùng những người khác. Một người biết cách quan tâm, thông cảm và quản trị nguồn nhân lực trong nhóm, tổ chức, công ty của mình
Example: Colleagues say she's a good people person who can really motivate a team.
Example: I have to say that I am a people person. I really enjoy working with other people. Also, I am definitely good at motivating people.
 
 
2. Family man (n) /ˈfæəl.i ˌmæn/: a man who has a wife and children, or who enjoys spending a lot of time with them – người đàn ông của gia đình
Example : Since the birth of his twins, Harvey has become a family man. He spends all of his spare time with his children.
 
 
3. A man/woman of his/her word : someone who keeps their promises - người biết giữ lời hứa
Example: You can trust him - he's a man of his word.
 
 
4. A fast learner : người thông minh, học nhanh
Example: He’s a fast learner and easily grasps all the details of a discussion.
 
5. Born optimist: người cực lạc quan, yêu đời
Example: I admire Jamal because he always sees the sunny side of life. He’s a born optimist.
 
 
6. Down-to-earth: thân thiện, thực tế và thẳng thắn.
Example: I am keen on working with a down-to-earth person. Because, their opinions are realistic, reasonable and possible to implement.
 
7. Culture vulture (n) /ˈkʌtʃə ˌvʌl.tʃər/: someone who is very interested in music, art, theatre, etc. - người đam mê văn hoá, nghệ thuật
Example: If you're a culture vulture, New York has everything you could want - opera, theatre, museums, and more.
 
 
8. Eager beaver (n) /ˌiː.ɡər ˈbiː.vər/: a person who is willing to work very hard – chỉ một người sẵn sàng làm việc chăm chỉ
Example: She always does her English grammar homework and even asks for extra exercises on the weekend. What an eager beaver!
 
9. Early bird (n) /ˈɜː.li ˌbɜːd/: person who gets up or arrives early - người dạy sớm…
Example: In her senior years, when she finally had the luxurious freedom to sleep in, Delores became an early bird and got up every morning at 5:00 am.
 
10. A heart of gold : a kind and generous character - người cực kì tốt bụng, rộng lượng
Example: He plays the part of a tough cop on TV who really has a heart of gold.
