1. Develop a taste for: bắt đầu thích cái gì…
Example: She has developed a taste for fast cars.
 
2. A taste for sth = the fact of liking or enjoying something:   thích cái gì
Example: She came home from Europe with a taste for art and the finer things in life.
 
3. Acquired taste = something you dislike at first but start to like after trying it several times: vị đặc trưng (thích sau khi thử vài lần)
Example: Octopus is an acquired taste but it’s a must on the south coast.
 
4. Have a taste for (something) = to have a preference, inclination, or desire for some particular kind of food or drink: có gu về…
Example: I’ve always had a taste for red meat, so I don't think I could ever be a vegetarian.
 
5. In good taste = proper and acceptable: tốt
Example: Some people felt that her behavior wasn't in good taste.
 
6. Sense of taste: gu, vị
Example: She is quite clueless and has an unusual sense of taste in food compared to her friends.
 
7. Leave a bad/unpleasant taste in our mouths = leave an unpleasant memory: để lại kí ức buồn
Example: Her cruel remarks left a bad/unpleasant taste in our mouths.
 
8. Give sb a dose/taste of their own medicine = to treat someone as badly as they have treated you: Gậy ông đập lưng ông
Example: Give her a dose of her own medicine and make her wait for you.
