1. Paradigm (n) /ˈpær.ə.daɪm/: a model of something, or a very clear and typical example of something: mẫu, hệ biến hoá
Example: Some of these educators are hoping to produce a change in the current cultural paradigm.
2. Specifiable (a) /ˌspes·əˈfɑɪ·ə·bəl/: Possible to specify: có thể chỉ rõ..
Example: specifiable complaints.
3. Triathlon (n) [ C ] /traɪˈæθ.lɒn/: a competition in which the people competing must swim, ride a bicycle, and run particular distances without stopping between events: Ba môn phối hợp bao gồm chạy bộ, bơi và đua xe đạp
Example: A race involving running, swimming and biking is an example of a triathlon.
4. Ticklish (a) /ˈtɪk.əl.ɪʃ/ /ˈtɪk.lɪʃ/: If you are ticklish, you quickly feel uncomfortable when someone lightly touches your skin to make you laugh: có máu buồn
Example: Humans and chimpanzees share similar ticklish areas of the body such as the armpits and belly.
5. Infamous (a) /ˈɪn.fə.məs/: famous for something considered bad: tai tiếng
Example: He’s infamous for his bigoted sense of humour.
6. Valet (n) /ˈvæl.eɪ/: someone in a hotel who cleans clothes: người giặt quần áo (ở khách sạn)
Example: Enter valets, chambermaids, manicurists, and chefs, all squeezing into the tiny room.
