Bạn có phải là một người spontaneous (không gò bó vào 1 khuôn khổ nào, kiểu flexible linh hoạt và ứng biến với mọi tình huống). Đây là từ chỉ tính cách con người cực hay mà nhất định nên biết. Ngoài cách nói SPONTENEOUS bạn có thể dùng các từ BEC liệt kê bên dưới để được điểm cao tuyệt vời hơn nữa hén, đặc biệt OFF THE CUFF hay improvise - ứng biến được dùng rất nhiều trong các bài thảo luận - hot detabes
1. Spontaneous (a) /spɒnˈteɪ.ni.əs/: happening or done in a natural, often sudden way, without any planning or without being forced – tự nhiên, không ép buộc
Example: His jokes seemed spontaneous, but were in fact carefully prepared beforehand.
2. Off the cuff = If you speak off the cuff, you say something without having prepared or thought about your words first
Example: I hadn't prepared a speech so I just said a few words off the cuff.
3. Improvise (v) /ˈɪm.prə.vaɪz/: to invent or make something, such as a speech or a device, at the time when it is needed without already having planned it - ứng biến
Example: I hadn't prepared a speech so I suddenly had to improvise.
4. Impulsive (a) /ɪmˈpʌl.sɪv/: showing behaviour in which you do things suddenly without any planning and without considering the effects they may have – bốc đồng
Example: Don’t be so impulsive - think before you act.
5. Impetuous (a) /ɪmˈpetʃ.u.əs/: likely to do something suddenly, without considering the results of your actions – mạnh mẽ, dữ dội, bốc đồng
Example: He’s so impetuous - why can't he think things over before he rushes into them?
6. Unprompted (a) /ʌnˈprɒmp.tɪd/: without being told to say or do something – tự ý, tự phát
Example: Jim was remarkably charming this evening - he even said, unprompted, how nice Margot looked in her dress.
