Do you like traveling by boat?
Certainly, I do. You know, the idea of traveling by boat always tickles my fancy as they offer me a golden opportunity to genuinely appreciate the journey, admire the beauty of the stunning beachesand escape from the hustle and bustle of life.
Have you ever been on a boat?
Answer 1
Yes, if my memories serve me right, my first time traveling by boat was about 5 years ago when I was on holiday with my best friends to Ha Long Bay. We chose to experience an overnight cruise to get away from it all. We had a whale of a time to unwind and to be immersed in the natural environment. The panoramic sea view from our boat were incredibly spectacular.
Answer 2
Yes, I’ve been on boats on countless occasions. Growing up close to the sea, I was blessed with many opportunities during my childhood to spend time on the water on small boats, like rowing boats and canoes. I’ve also been onboard larger vessels including yachts and ferries, but unfortunately, I often suffer from seasickness so it can be difficult to fully enjoy the experience whenI’m feeling queasy.
What activities do people do on boats?
Obviously, there are a multitude of activities that can be done on boats. Luxury cruises take tourists to exotic destinations, trawler boats are used for large-scale commercial fishing, and submarines are used by the military for stealth and warfare. There are even party boats, where the super wealthy and hedonistic can mingle on extravagant yachts. I myself recently took a boat fromthe Vietnam mainland to Phu Quoc island, as a cheaper and more convenient alternative to flying.
Are boats popular in your country?
Answer 1
Yes, one of the most favored kind these days in the UK is the houseboat. With the cost of buying, or even renting property soaring, these boats are becoming a desirable way to live in otherwise unaffordable cities such as London and Cambridge. Perhaps, the lifestyle they offer is also a desirable one. When you are bored of living in one particular place, you can simply untether your boat from the land, and drift on down the river to another town.
Answer 2
Yes, there are all kinds of boats which can be used for a variety of purposes, mainly for commercial use. For example, fishermen use their boats to go far offshore for fishing. Many of them have long fishing trips, which lasts for months. The Navy uses boats to patrol the sea. Some wealthy/affluent families hire boats during their vacation as a popular recreational activity to discover undersea world, which costs a fortune.
Would you like to own a boat?
Answer 1
Honestly, a boat is an extravagant item that I think I could never be able to afford in my life. But it would be interesting to possess my own boat since I could travel to discover stunning landscapes on the sea and broaden my horizons. If I had a boat, I would definitely spend time travelling to the sea to enjoy the fresh air and breathtaking views. The simple reason is that I’m up to my ears in work now, so I really need time to get away from it all and recharge my battery
Answer 2
Absolutely! Although it is an unrealistic goal for myself at the moment, the idea of owning a boat truly fascinates me (or: the idea of owning a boat always captures my imagination). I really love spending every day sailing, swimming, and eating seafood on stunning beaches. Hopefully, in the not too distant future, I would be able to afford a boat.
Would you shop online or in a store for a boat?
If I had a chance to purchase a boat, I would certainly go for buying directly in the physical store. I would want to check and ensure that I’m fully satisfied with it before buying. In addition, purchasing boats in a store allows me to bargain for the most reasonable price, which helps me to save a great deal of money.
