Topic tả người trong các bài thi nói IELTS quý nào cũng có hết vì đây là những topic cơ bản nên việc nắm được các tính từ/ cụm từ hay collocations cũng như IDIOMS tả người là điều cực thiết yếu và giúp cho bài nói của bạn sống động, có màu sắc hơn.
1. Hourglass figure /ˈaʊə.ɡlɑːs ˌfɪɡ.ər/: thân hình đồng hồ cát
Example: If a woman has an hourglass figure, she has a very small waist.
2. Pear body shape: thân hình quả lê
Example: The pear body shape is characterised by large hips which are wider than the bust and shoulders.
3. Rectangle body shape: thân hình chữ nhật
Example: The rectangle body shape is characterised by equal bust, waist and hip measurements. Rectangles tend to be tall and lean. They are not particularly curvy, the waist is not well-defined, and the bottom is rather flat.
4. Athletic (a) /æθˈlet.ɪk/: strong, healthy, and good at sports: khoẻ mạnh
Example: If your body is muscular but isn’t particularly curvy, you might have an athletic body type.
5. Well-built (a) /ˌwel ˈbɪlt/: A well-built person is large
Example: My father and my two older brothers are all well-built.
6. Broad shoulders: vai rộng
Example: He has really broad shoulders.
7. Slender (a) /ˈslen.dər/: thin and delicate, often in a way that is attractive: thon gọn
Example: He put his hands around her slender waist.
8. Slim (a) /slɪm/ (especially of people) attract
Example: She has a lovely slim figure.
9. Plump (a) /plʌmp/: fat: béo
Example: He’s got rather plump since I last saw him.
10. Dumpy (a) /ˈdʌm.pi/: short and fat: béo lùn
Example: a dumpy little woman

13. Scrawny (a) /ˈskrɔː.ni/: unpleasantly thin, often with bones showing: gầy gò, khẳng khiu

Example: You should eat more - you're too skinny.
