Nhiều bạn vẫn chưa biết FLOATING MARKET hay FLEA MARKET là gì này, đây toàn là vocab cơ bản nên chúng mình học thật kỹ để dùng từ cho đúng văn cảnh nhé!
1. Floating market = a market where goods are sold from boats: chợ nổi
Example: The floating market is crowded with tourists and is considered a tourist trap.
2. Flea market = a market, typically outdoors, selling secondhand goods: chợ trời
Example: My friend likes to stroll around the flea market on the chance of picking up something of value
3. Night market = street markets which operate at night and are generally dedicated to more leisurely strolling, shopping, and eating than more businesslike day markets: chợ đêm
Example: They are typically open-air markets.
4. A wet market = a marketplace selling fresh meat, fish, produce, and other perishable goods: (Chợ bán đồ tươi sống)
Example: There is a wet market every day where produce can be bought.
5. Supermarket (n) /ˈsuː.pəˌmɑː.kɪt/: a large shop which sells most types of food and other goods needed in the home: siêu thị
6. Mall (n) /mɔːl/: a large, usually covered, shopping area where cars are not allowed: Trung tâm mua sắm
Example: There are plans to build a new mall in the middle of town.
7. Hypermarket = a very large shop, usually outside the centre of town: đại siêu thị
Example: Retail centres will be competing on unfavourable terms with hypermarkets in an enterprise zone.
8. Black market /ˈblak ˈmärkət/ = an illegal traffic or trade in officially controlled or scarce commodities: chợ đen
Example: They planned to sell the meat on the black market
