1. Wink (v) /wɪŋk/: to close one eye for a short time as a way of greeting someone or showing friendliness, sexual interest, etc., or of showing that you are not serious about something you have said: nháy mắt
Example: For a second I thought he was being serious, but then he winked at me.
2. Frown (v) /fraʊn/: to bring your eyebrows together so that there are lines on your face above your eyes, often while turning the corners of your mouth downwards, showing that you are annoyed, worried, sad, or thinking hard: cau mày
Example: She frowned at me, clearly annoyed.
3. Grin (v) /ɡrɪn/: to smile a wide smile: cười toe toét
Example: He grinned at me from the doorway.
4. Blink (v) /blɪŋk/: When you blink, you close and then open your eyes quickly once or several times, and when an eye blinks, it does this: chớp mắt
Example: You’ve got something in your eye - try blinking a few times.
5. Blush (v) /blʌʃ/: to become pink in the face, usually from embarrassment: đỏ mặt
Example: I always blush when I speak in public.
6. Yawn (v) /jɔːn/: to open the mouth wide and take a lot of air into the lungs and slowly send it out, usually when tired or bored: ngáp
Example: I can't stop yawning - I must be tired.
7. Sneeze (v) /sniːz/: When you sneeze, air and often small drops of liquid suddenly come out of your nose and mouth in a way you cannot control: hắt xì…
Example: Cats make him sneeze - I think he's allergic to them.
8. Sigh (v) /saɪ/: to breathe out slowly and noisily, expressing tiredness, sadness, pleasure, etc.: thở dài…
Example: She sighed deeply and sat down.
