NOTE: Riêng cụm “AT PRESENT” không áp dụng cho IELTS Writing nhé cả nhà, bạn chỉ nên dùng cách nói này trong Speaking!
1. Nowadays (adv) /ˈnaʊ.ə.deɪz/: at the present time, in comparison to the past: ngày nay
Example: Who remembers those movies nowadays?
2. In this day and age = at the present time: ngày nay
Example: You can't afford to run businesses inefficiently in this day and age.
3. These days = now: hiện giờ
Example: I used to talk to my sister every night. These days, we hardly speak to each other.
4. In today’s world: Trong thế giới ngày nay
Example: Well, in the developed world, the percent of people needed to farm fell from more than 90 percent to today's 4 percent.
5. In today’s modern society: Trong xã hội hiện đại ngày nay
Example: Despite its long history, tea drinking customs and traditions are still prevalent in today's modern society.
6. Currently (adv) /ˈkʌr.ənt.li/: at the present time: hiện tại thì…
Example: The Director is currently having talks in the US.
7. Presently (adv) /ˈprez.ənt.li/: now; at the present time: hiện tại
Example: Of 200 boats, only 20 are presently operational.
8. At present = now: hiện tại
Example: At present, she's working abroad
