1. An animal test = any scientific experiment or test in which a live animal is forced to undergo something that is likely to cause them pain, suffering, distress or lasting harm: Thử nghiệm trên động vật
2. Animal testing = animal experimentation = the use of non-human animals in experiments that seek to control the variables that affect the behavior or biological system under study: thí nghiệm trên động vật
3. Animal experiments: các thí nghiệm trên động vật.
Example: A new targeted therapy against cancer has shown impressive results in animal experiments.
4. Animal products /Animal-based products: các sản phẩm làm từ động vật
Example: Animal products (excluding beef) required 3.3-6.3 times the amount of land as the grains.
5. Meat-eating= having meat as the predominant or only component in one's diet: chế độ ăn có thịt là chủ yếu
Example: A vegetarian accuses meat-eating animal lovers of being hypocritical.
6. Animal free diet = Containing no animal products or involving no animals; (of food or diet) vegetarian or vegan: chế độ ăn không có thịt
7. A plant-based diet = consists of all minimally processed fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts and seeds, herbs, and spices and excludes all animal products, including red meat, oultry, fish, eggs, and dairy products: Chế độ ăn dựa trên thực vật
