Quay trở lại với Part 1, nếu như ở bài trước chúng mình đã tìm hiểu về Plants & Gardens, vậy hãy xem chủ đề Dream hôm nay có gì nhé!
Do you have dreams while you sleep?
Of course, everyone dreams. Actually, I used to dream a lot more during my sleep cycle when I was a child than I do now. I suspect that the use of my smartphone before bed inhibits dreaming to some extent. It’s been proven scientifically that the blue light emitted from smart phones or tablets’ screens disrupts the brain’s natural sleep habits. Therefore I would surmise, also stops you from dreaming as much.
Do you remember some of your dreams?
To be honest, I only remember my dreams once in a blue moon. I quite often remember them when I first wake up but as soon as I get out of bed and begin my day, the memory disappears. Actually, I make no effort to remember them either. Rather than remembering the dreams themselves, I usually just remember the people or places I dreamt about.
Do you think dreams have meanings?
No, I don’t really attach any kind of high significance to dreams. I think that for the most part they’re just a random collection of thoughts and images that are being processed by your brain as you sleep. Having said this, if you’re thoughts are preoccupied with one particular problem in your waking life then this problem is likely to crop up in your dreams as well. Perhaps if you continually dream about the same thing, then it is an indication that you should confront the issue in reality.
Do you like to listen to other people talking about their dreams?
No, not one bit. When other people start talking about their dreams I feel bored to death. The one exception of course is if they say that they dreamt about me. That’s the only detail that will pique my interest and get my full attention. However, usually when my friends start to tell me about their dreams I quickly drift off and begin thinking about something else entirely.
Would you like to study about dreams in the future?
No, not really. As I’ve said, dreams do not really engage my interest so I’d find it an arduous task to. On the other hand, I could probably take a stab at it if I needed to. It wouldn’t be like studying a technical subject such as engineering or chemistry, where you’re required to learn a lot of specialized terms and complex concepts. In comparison to these, analysing and writing about dreams would be a walk in the park.
