Các từ với chữ cái B là âm câm nha. Có 2 nguyên tắc chúng ta cần nhớ:
 
- Nguyên tắc 1: B không được phát âm khi đứng sau M ở cuối từ.
Example: limb, crumb, dumb, comb, bomb, thumb.
 
- Nguyên tắc 2: B không được phát âm khi đứng trước T thường là ở cuối từ nhưng không phải lúc nào cũng vậy.
Example: debt, doubt, subtle, debtor, doubtful.
 
1. Comb (n) /kəʊm/: a flat piece of plastic, wood, or metal with a thin row of long, narrow parts along one side, used to tidy and arrange your hair: cái lược
Example: She tilted the mirror and began to comb her hair.
 

2. Crumb (n) /krʌm/: a very small piece of bread, cake, or biscuit: miếng, mẩu vụn
Example: crumbs of bread
 

3. Numb (a) /nʌm/: If a part of your body is numb, you are unable to feel it, usually for a short time: tê cóng..
Example: I was lying in a weird position and my leg went numb.
 

4. Tomb (n) /tuːm/: a large stone structure or underground room where someone, especially an important person, is buried: lăng mộ
Example: His tomb is in the churchyard
 

5. Womb (n) /wuːm/: the organ in the body of a woman or other female mammal in which a baby develops before birth: dạ con, tử cung
Example: Researchers are looking at how a mother's health can affect the baby in the womb.
 
6. Lamb (n) /læm/: a young sheep, or the flesh of a young sheep eaten as meat: cừu non, thịt cừu non
Example: lamb chops
 

7. Subtle (a) /ˈsʌt.əl/: not loud, bright, noticeable, or obvious in any way: phảng phất
Example: The room was painted a subtle shade of pink.
 
8. Debtor (n) /ˈdet.ər/: someone who owes money: người nợ
Example: If a debtor had neither money nor crop, the creditor must not refuse goods
