Vocabulary highlights:
1. Abstract (a) /ˈæb.strækt/: existing as an idea, feeling, or quality, not as a material object: trìu tượng
Example: Truth and beauty are abstract concepts.
2. Put your finger on sth = to discover the exact reason
Example: There's something odd about him, but I can't quite put my finger on it.
3. Content (a) /kənˈtent/: pleased with your situation
Example: He seems fairly content with (his) life.
4. Stable (a) /ˈsteɪ.bəl/: firmly fixed or not likely to move or change: ổn định
Example: After several part-time jobs, he's now got a stable job in a bank.
5. Day in day out = (especially of something boring) done or happening every day for a long period of time: hàng ngày
Example: I have to do the same boring jobs day in day out.
6. Have a whale of a time = to enjoy yourself very much: có thời gian tuyệt vời
Example: We had a whale of a time on holiday.
7. Tickle sb's fancy = If something tickles your fancy, you like it and want to have it: khiến…thích thú…
Example: Does anything on the menu tickle your fancy?
8. Grateful (a) /ˈɡreɪt.fəl/: showing or expressing thanks,
Example: I’m so grateful (to you) for all that you've done.
9. Abundance (n) /əˈbʌn.dəns/: the situation in which there is more than enough of something: đủ đầy
Example: There was an abundance of food at the wedding.
