Example: When it comes to politics, Jamie and Islas are poles apart.
2. A world of difference: hai thé giới khác biệt
Example There’s a world of difference between being a friend and a lover.
3. A great divide: một sự phân chia tuyệt vời
Example: There’s a great divide between city residents and people who live in the country.
4. A yawning gap: khoảng cách lớn
Example: A yawning gap divides the rich and poor into many countries.
5. A huge discrepancy: 1 sự khác biệt lớn
Example: There’s a huge discrepancy between his death and his actions.
6. Quite the opposite: khá là khác biệt hẳn…
Example: We’re not almost there at all. Quite the opposite: we’ve got five miles to go yet.
7. On the contrary: trái ngược lại…
Example: On the contrary, I thought they would be much better.
8. On the other hand: mặt khác mà nói thì…
Example: On the other hand, it may rain later, so take the umbrella.
