Việc phát âm đóng vai trò cực quan trọng trong các bài thi nói IELTS Speaking, nếu bạn không thể phát âm chuẩn thì sẽ ảnh hưởng đến điểm nói rất nhiều, vậy nên mỗi ngày chúng mình hãy trang bị học các từ dễ phát âm nhầm nhất để hoàn thiện kĩ năng PRONUNCIATION (phát âm)
1. Anemone (n) /əˈnem.ə.ni/: any of several types of small plant, wild or grown in gardens, with red, blue, or white flowers: hải quỳ
Example: White anemones give cool sophistication to a garden.
2. Colonel (n) /ˈkɜr·nəl/: a military officer of high rank, above a major: Thượng tá
3. Draught (n) /drɑːft/ : system of storing and serving drinks from large containers, especially barrels: bia tươi
Example: Is the lager on draught or is it bottled?
4. Quinoa (n) /ˈkiːnwɑː/: the seeds of a South American plant that are cooked and eaten as food: Diêm mạch
5. Sixth (ordinal number) /sɪksθ/: 6th written as a word
Example: I have to return my library books on the sixth (of July).
6. Squirrel (n) /ˈskwɪr.əl/: a small animal covered in fur with a long tail: con sóc
Example: Squirrels climb trees and feed on nuts and seeds.
7. Rural (a) /ˈrʊə.rəl/: in, of, or like the countryside: xa xôi hẻo lánh
Example: The area is still very rural and undeveloped.
8. Wednesday (n) /ˈwenz.deɪ/: the day of the week after Tuesday and before Thursday: thứ 4
Example: Did you say the meeting is on Wednesday?
