Một điều thú vị là nhiều bạn thích Giáng sinh - mùa lễ hội ngọt ngào tràn ngập yêu thương nhưng lại chưa hề để ý đến văn hoá của người Anh hay ăn những món gì trong các dịp lễ Giáng Sinh. 1. Roast turkey /ˈtɜː.ki/ (noun): gà tây quay
Example: We have gone down the road of a roast turkey dinner and the time for turning back has passed.
 
 
2. Pig in a blanket (n) /ˌpɪɡ ɪn ə ˈblæŋ.kɪt/: a small sausage cooked with bacon (= thin slices of meat from a pig) wrapped around it: Lợn trong chăn là một loạt các món ăn chế biến từ xúc xích khác nhau
Example: Kids love pigs in blankets.
 
 
3. Yorkshire pudding (n) /ˌjɔːk.ʃə ˈpʊd.ɪŋ/: a type of food from England that is a baked mixture of flour, milk, and eggs, traditionally eaten with roast beef: Bánh pudding Yorkshire
Example: `I don't know how to cook Yorkshire pudding ,' she whispered. 
 
 
4. Gravy (n) /ˈɡreɪ.vi/: a sauce made with meat juices and flour, served with meat and vegetables: nước sốt
Example: She poured gravy over her mashed potatoes.
 
 
5. Brussels sprouts (plural noun) /ˌbrʌs·əl ˈsprɑʊts/: a green vegetable like very small cabbages: Cải Brussels (cải bí xen)
Example: Beans, asparagus and Brussels sprouts are rich in Folate.
 
 
6. Christmas pudding (n) /ˌkrɪs.məs ˈpʊd.ɪŋ/: a sweet, dark food containing dried fruit, eaten at the end of the meal in some countries at Christmas
Example: I made Christmas Pudding, mince pies and my own mincemeat.
 
 
7. Mince pie (n) /ˌmɪns ˈpaɪ/: a covered pastry case filled with mincemeat: bánh ngọt xuất xứ từ Anh, có nhân là một hỗn hợp các loại trái cây khô và gia vị 
Example: You should taste her mince pies! 
 
 
8. Cranberry sauce /ˈkræn.bər.i/ sauce made of cranberries and sugar: sốt việt quất
 
 
9. Candy cane (n) /ˈkæn.di ˌkeɪn/: a piece of flavoured hard candy shaped like a cane (= a walking stick): Kẹo que bạc hà
